Ritchenya A. Dodd is a vice president in the New York office of Infinite Public Relations.
A lawyer and former journalist, Ritchenya has extensive experience in media communications, marketing, and business development. She works with clients to conceive media outreach campaigns, social media strategies, and marketing communication plans that effectively implement their business development goals. She is experienced in providing media crisis support, has helped obtain high-profile placements, and has extensive background writing media materials.
Ritchenya is often asked to help shape the message in instances involving sensitive issues and technically challenging information. She has worked with a wide variety of clients in the legal industry, including global and regional law firms, legal business consultants, and other legal services providers. In addition, she has worked with other services providers such as businesses in the medical device, financial services, and technology sectors.
Most recently Ritchenya served as the business development and marketing director for Hill Wallack, LLP, a Princeton, N.J. law firm. Prior to that, she ran her own business, Dodd Marketing Communications, which focused on the legal industry, and business-to-business providers, for more than eight years. She also served as an-house marketing manager for the New York/New Jersey region for Reed Smith LLP, an AmLaw 100 law firm.
Ritchenya worked as a journalist for more than seven years, including at The National Law Journal (New York), where she wrote the NLJ’s Law Firm Management column and covered other legal news. She worked as a news person (general assignments) for the Associated Press in its Philadelphia Bureau, and as a reporter for The Legal Intelligencer (Philadelphia), where she received a Pennsylvania Publishers Association Keystone Press Award for her coverage of environmental issues. She has freelanced for legal and business publications, including the American Bar Association’s Law Practice magazine and has written blog content for her own and other blogs.
Ritchenya earned a J.D. (with distinction) from the George Mason University School of Law, where she served as manuscript editor for the law review, and a B.A. in communications from Brigham Young University.
